What is hat sublimation?
Sublimation is a fairly new technology that takes printable products to a new level of creativity, especially bottle caps. Cap sublimation gives you the creative freedom to create bold designs in vibrant colors to showcase your company. With sublimation, you can take any digital image, regardless of size or color arrangement, and apply it directly to the cap. Imagine all the possibilities!
This is an example of a simple custom hat sublimation process.
1. Print your custom design on heat sublimation paper using a high quality heat sublimation printer. Make sure you get a detailed design on the paper.
2. Take the printed paper with you and place it on the hat blank in the location where you want to make the final print.
3. After the paper and hat are successfully sealed, place it in the heat press and start the heat pressing process at about 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about one minute.
4. After the heat press process is complete, give the hat some time to cool to room temperature.
After completing all of the above processes, remove the heat sublimation paper from the hat and your hat will be permanently printed with your custom design.
